Appraise Your Coins — Fair, Honest, In Person
From a Single Coin to a Full Collection
Whether you have one old coin you’re curious about or an entire collection you’re ready to sell, I’ll examine it in person and give you a fair, no-pressure offer. No guesswork, no mailed appraisals, and no obligation.
What I Buy
Rare & Collectible Currency
Paper currency is often overlooked in collections and estates. People focus on the coins and miss the notes themselves. I buy both graded and raw currency, from nineteenth-century banknotes to modern printing errors.
A few notable pieces that have come through my hands include a Series 1929 $5 National Currency note from The Worcester County National Bank of Worcester, Massachusetts — the same bank where King Philip Coin began before the move to Jacksonville.
World & Ancient Coins
Foreign coins and genuine ancient pieces, including Roman-era bronze, appear in estates and collections more often than most people expect. I buy those as well.
If you have old paper money — especially large-size notes, professionally graded pieces, or anything with unusual printing — it’s worth a proper look before assuming it’s just old cash.

See Estate ServicesFrequently Asked Questions
Do you buy paper money, not just coins?
Yes. Obsolete banknotes, large-size notes, small-size Federal Reserve Notes, and certified/graded currency are all welcome.
Do you buy graded or certified currency?
Yes. PCGS, PMG, CGA, LCG, and other reputable graders are accepted. Bring it in the holder as-is.
What if my coins or currency aren’t rare?
That’s fine. I’ll still give them an honest look and tell you what’s realistic.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are preferred so I can give you proper attention, but walk-ins are welcome. You may need to wait if I’m with another client.
Can you tell me what something is worth over the phone?
No. I always need to see it in hand before giving a number.
