Welcome to King Philip Coin — I’m a coin dealer by trade, but a picker at heart. I’ve been collecting and trading coins since 1976, and for nearly fifty years I’ve worked with coins, precious metals, jewelry, antiques, and collectibles: buying, selling, appraising, and helping people understand what they actually have.
Since 1975, I’ve walked through 11,225 properties and run 351 estate sales, and I work with a network of more than 400 dealers and serious collectors, both domestically and internationally — so when you sell to me, you’re not limited by what fits in my own case, and I can usually find the right buyer for even the most unusual piece.
One of my favorite parts of this business is still ‘picking’ through an estate. An attic, crawl space, garage, barn, old box, or forgotten collection can contain something surprisingly valuable — before you throw anything away, have it looked at. I’ve seen valuable items nearly discarded simply because no one recognized what they were.
