Who We Are

King Philip Coin (“we,” “us”) is a coin and bullion dealer at 6821 Southpoint Dr N #228, Jacksonville, FL 32216. Our website is https://kingphilipcoin.com. You can reach us at (855) 572-6467 or paul@kingphilipcoin.com.

Information You Give Us

Contact form. When you send a message through our Contact page, we receive your name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message. It is emailed to us so we can reply, and a copy is kept in our website’s private admin area so a message is never lost.

Calls, texts and email. If you call, text or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us.

Online price holds. Locking a price on our online pricing page does not ask for your name or contact details. To complete a purchase, you call or text us.

In-person buying and selling. When we buy items from you, Florida law requires dealers to record certain details, such as your government-issued ID and a description of the items. We keep those records as the law requires.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to answer your questions, schedule appointments, provide appraisals, complete purchases and sales, and keep the records the law requires. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Federal Reporting Requirements

Cash payments over $10,000. When King Philip Coin receives more than $10,000 in cash, whether in one transaction or in related transactions, federal law requires us to report it to the IRS on Form 8300. The report includes your name, address, Social Security or taxpayer identification number and the details of the payment, so we will ask for government-issued ID. “Cash” includes U.S. and foreign currency, and in some cases cashier’s checks, bank drafts, traveler’s checks and money orders. We will also send you a written notice that the report was filed.

When you sell to us. Certain sales of specific gold and silver coins and bars in reportable quantities must be reported to the IRS on Form 1099-B, whatever the payment method. If your sale qualifies, we will ask for your taxpayer identification number.

Splitting a transaction into smaller amounts to avoid these reports is illegal, and we cannot take part in it. These requirements come from federal law, not from our own policies. For questions about how they apply to you, please consult your tax advisor.

Cookies

Our site uses a small number of cookies needed for it to work, a cookie that remembers your cookie choices, and, only if you accept them, Google Analytics cookies. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time.

Third-Party Services

Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors found us. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics uses cookies to recognize return visits. If you reject them, Google receives only limited information without cookies. We do not use it to identify you personally. See Google’s Privacy Policy, or opt out of Google Analytics on all sites with Google’s browser add-on.

Live metal prices. The price ticker at the top of our pages is provided by TradingView and loads from their servers, which may receive your IP address and browser details.

Inventory pricing. Inventory and prices on our online pricing page come from King Philip Coin and the established dealers in our network. Those requests are made by our server, not your browser, and never include any information about you.

Social links. Share buttons and our YouTube link go to Facebook, X, LinkedIn and YouTube only when you click them. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

How We Protect It

Our site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to messages and records is limited to King Philip Coin.

How Long We Keep It

We keep contact messages as long as needed to help you and for our ordinary business records, and transaction records for as long as Florida law requires.

Your Choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, except records we are legally required to keep. Contact us at paul@kingphilipcoin.com or (855) 572-6467.

Ownership of Images, Video and Audio

All images, videos and audio recordings on this website, and those made by King Philip Coin in the course of its business, are the property of King Philip Coin. They may not be copied, reused or published without our written permission.

Items Left for Appraisal

Items dropped off at King Philip Coin for appraisal must be picked up within 60 days of drop-off. Items not picked up within 60 days, unless we have agreed in advance to a longer period, become the property of King Philip Coin.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
